Global Action Days 2024

April 22 to May 3, 2024

LET’S GET CLIMATE READY!

FEE’s Global Action Days movement demonstrates how individual actions, no matter how small they seem, can greatly impact our own and our Earth’s well-being.

Schools from all over the world, which are part of the Eco-Schools, LEAF and YRE Network, as well as non-FEE programme schools, are invited to join in!

Greening Communities with Global Action Days!

As part of our commitment to the Greening Education Partnership, we’re dedicated to delivering strong, coordinated and comprehensive actions, such as our annual Global Action Days campaign, that will prepare every learner to acquire the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes to tackle climate change and to promote sustainable development.

We are proud to be a Supporting Partner of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration for the protection and restoration of ecosystems and biodiversity around the world. Through the Global Action Days we aim to mobilise individuals, communities, and organisations worldwide to take steps towards restoring our natural environment. By aligning our Global Action Days tasks with the UN Decade for Ecosystem Restoration, we aim to play an active role in raising awareness and understanding of ecosystem restoration education.

The Greening Education Partnership is an independent and inclusive community of practice on the role of education in tackling climate change. It is led by national governments, intergovernmental organizations, youth, civil society organizations, and private sector, among others.

The Secretariat is hosted by UNESCO’s Headquarters in Paris. For more information, please contact gep@unesco.org.
