Litter Less Campaign
The Litter Less Campaign was a global environmental education initiative delivered by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) in partnership with the Mars Wrigley Foundation. Running from 2011 to 2024, the campaign empowered more than 7.4 million children and young people across 35 countries to tackle litter and waste through hands-on learning, community action and environmental leadership. Implemented through the Eco-Schools and Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE) programmes, the campaign inspired lasting behaviour change and promoted more sustainable consumption and circular economy thinking. Running Out of Time (ROoT)
In 2022, FEE partnered with The World Relay to support Running Out of Time, a record-breaking 7,767 km climate relay from Glasgow to Sharm el-Sheikh ahead of COP27. Crossing 18 countries over 40 days, the relay carried a message calling for universal, quality climate education, backed by more than 800,000 signatures from across the FEE network.
