On Friday 8 December, FEE Head Office personnel visited the Danish Red Cross Volunteer House in Copenhagen as part of their teambuilding Christmas outing.
The Danish Red Cross organises a two-day event before Christmas annually. The event is a Christmas Sale for which a variety of items have been donated from well-known brands and designers. The clothes, jewellery and artifacts are sold at very low prices.
The FEE Head Office team comes in after the Christmas Sale and helps by collecting up the remaining clothes and materials and repacking them for recycling, then cleaning up the place where the event took place.
All funds that the Danish Red Cross collects during their Christmas Sale goes to the Red Cross’s work for vulnerable people throughout the world.
This was the fourth time that the team assisted the Danish Red Cross with their Christmas Sale, and has turned out to be an enjoyable pre-Christmas tradition for the FEE Head Office.
