The Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Pramod Kumar Sharma as the new Senior Director of Education. This is a new position within the FEE structure.

Pramod has over 17 years of experience working with environmental education and Education for Sustainable Development and has until recently been the Programme Director at the Centre for Environment Education in India. In his new position at FEE, he will be responsible for the overall programme development, administration, supervision, and evaluation of the three formal educational programmes (Eco-Schools, LEAF, and YRE). He will also directly supervise two International Programme Directors (LEAF and YRE) and a full-time Eco-Schools Programme Coordinator.

Pramod will also provide managerial oversight of the educational components within the other two non-formal education programmes (Blue Flag and Green Key).

“We are certain that Dr. Sharma’s extensive hands on and managerial experience in the field of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) will provide FEE and its programmes the ability to continue to develop positive and solution based educational activities and content.  This will allow FEE to continue its role as an ESD global leader,” says Daniel Schaffer, Chief Executive Officer of FEE.
