Intern for new FEE sixth programme
Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) is in the process of developing a new sixth programme to complement our existing five programmes. This new FEE Sustainable Community programme, which could include an eco-label or award, aims to embrace the full spectrum of sustainability-related activities, with a strong emphasis on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), which is at the core of FEE’s operations.
FEE already possesses some very strong elements that could act as the cornerstone for the new Programme: the methodology, network and three international school-based programmes, as well as the eco-labels of Green Key and Blue Flag.
Yet the definition of sustainability means different things to different communities, so we are looking for an intern for six months who can help research and define the goals of this programme in a multicultural and enthusiastic office environment.
This would include market research regarding similar existing initiatives as well looking at the role of how different stakeholders and target groups could be involved. The goal would be to develop a framework and timeline for the implementation of a pilot and adaptation phase before the launch of the programme.
The successful candidate will also be assisting in various administrative tasks.
